With every new season, come fresh color stories and new perspectives on wardrobes and living spaces. Therefore, fashion and interior designers put together the tools to create the newest and hottest trends. As a designer, a storyboard is a very useful tool to plan the season in terms of style, colours and prints. Here’s an overview of our offerings for this Spring 2015 season:
I’ve always loved Navy and plan on putting it in heavy rotation in my personal wardrobe this year. Look for Navy in many new ‘must have’ items (like the Soft Shirt) and our famous Serene Pants & Flight Capris. There’s a new pant we didn’t make enough of last season, called the Easy Pant… it’s back in stock right now in both Navy and Black (it has POCKETS!). We also have a lovely Navy Tie-Dye print in bamboo which is a big trend this season… but it’s not the tie-dye from your teenage years! This monochromatic incarnation is fun but classic, and it’s in softest bamboo.
There are also lots of stripes used in inventive ways -in juicy exuberant COLOUR- with matching solids. There’s even pure white, in a new legging we call ‘Deck Tights’ (think Florida vacation!) and also our new Soft Shirt. Azure Blue isn’t going anywhere for quite a while, having made splashes at several Fall 2014 and Spring 2015 runway shows. It’s a bold enough hue to stand on its own but also looks fresh with white, black, and navy.
Check out this assortment of black, white and classic turquoise ‘Aruba’. If you’re feeling brave, mix and match with abandon! There are several classic black and white patterns to choose from: Paintbrush, Pin Stripes and Digital Rose.Tiny polka dots are fun, but the small scale and black/white colour scheme keep it classy and elegant.
We still have new items -our Spring designs- arriving daily from local factories!
